I was not able to open the Facebook page for Angry Birds Friends either, it just displayed a white page in Firefox and Google Chrome. Playing against friends can be a fun way to play the game. Your game progress is saved to your Facebook account automatically as well. From the looks of it, it looks exactly like any other Angry Birds game but with social components added on top of it. I could not really resolve the issue and can't test the entire game because of that. All I got when I clicked on the Play Tournament button was a message that I needed to connect a Facebook account to play the weekly tournaments and against friends, but there was no option to do so. I could not really figure out how to link a Facebook account to the game. Still, the tutorial can be completed in a couple of minutes and should not be a problem for players who played an Angry Birds game before. The tutorials do not really teach you anything new if you have played a game of Angry Birds before, and the need to play through it before you can start playing the game with your friends is probably not the best idea. Facebook? Yes, you do need to link a Facebook account to the game to play all levels except for the tutorials which are free to try. The big change introduced in the game is the play with friends mode that you can make use of to play with your Facebook friends and in tournaments. The company has released Angry Birds Friends today for Android and iOS.
